Els is a GDPR Certified Practitioner, who, having championed Data Protection for charities over the last decade, joined Onepoint in March 2018 to oversee compliance, risk management, and Information governance for both Onepoint and its clients.
Els has extensive experience in leadership and management in a career spanning over 30 years, which includes her recent role at University College London, leading a team of Departmental Coordinators at the School of European Languages. Beyond academia, Els also worked in the financial and medical sectors, where she was responsible for overseeing business policies, accounts, IT procurement, and delivering IT training.
Els graduated from the University of Antwerp with a degree in Socio-Educational Care. She speaks Dutch, French, German, and English.
